  The-ORO is a new RK site in town. Actually, it is a webdirectory site but then, they added new stuff like the interaction and there great multimedia especially their high quality scans. Even though the information is not the strong point of this site, they are still one of the contenders to be the top RK site in the future. The layout is pretty, the webmasters(yeah there's 3 of them) are nice to other people. And finally, the site is user-friendly to the visitors.

Summary:
 Well, the Oro has been revamped- new lay, new colour, just new all around. Let's see why you want to be there NOW:
 This new Oro has, first, a completely new colour scheme. The colour of the week... blue! Yes, indeed, a very blue layout; different now, however, the background is broken into several images so loads in under a minute. The menu at top is now slightly interactive, with a fun little image, heh.
 The bandwidth usage of the site is either severly lowered or the site itself operates on more bandwidth friendly means, but in either case, images- thumbnails and layout images included- load far faster now, with little to no breakage or stalling. In any case, there won't be so much waiting around now, but real browsing and fun.
 Also, the quiz images are now operational, the tag and gbook functions are as beautiful as always and the way the layout flows is terrifyingly delightful.
I can say little more as to describe the various improvements on an already fantastic site.
To be Improved:
 I believe that just maybe, a few fewer thumbnails could be put on each multimedia page- a tiny bit of lag comes up when they're all loading at once.  My only other suggestion might be that the webmasters continue to develop and make additions to the site, surely that would make this site even better.  It's gonna make me crazy, not finding some error or issue, but, I tried...

First Impression: (6/10)

I've been here plenty of times, but it's my first time reviewing you Shaza. Your splash page looks good. It loads pretty fast and it's easy to navigate with. The rollovers are a nice touch. Your main layout takes a quite bit longer to load, probably due to the large size or your main banner. The banner looks nice but I don't like the fact that you have to scroll to read the content in 1024x768 screen resolution. It must be even worse in 800x600.

Splash Page: This has got to be one of the best splash pages I've seen in a long time. I love the X at the side, especially since it has something to do with Rurouni Kenshin. The background is a bit dark so it makes the splash page look a bit busy, but other than that, good job.

Main: Since you have more than one theme, I'll just pick your main theme to review since it matches your splash page. As I mentioned before, your main header is huge. It's a bit of a hassle to have to scroll down to read the content. The blending in the header is a messy, although I have a feeling you planned it that way. The text in the background that reads "a hitokiri is a hitokiri until death", and so on, stands out a bit too much. I think you should lower the opacity or at least remove the stroke from around the text.

Your site title is a bit small and hard to notice but I love where you put it. It fits well with the rest of the layout. Your navigation and headers are absolutely gorgeous. They are my favourite part of the layout so far. The yellow background on the navigation adds a bit of colour to the rest of the layout. The orange design above the content area looks a bit strange since there is a gap between it and where the layout ends. I think it would be better if you moved it up a bit.

The patterned background is still a bit distracting. It fits well with your layout, but it would be better if you toned it down a bit so it doesn't take away from the focus of main layout. Moving on... Wow, I changed my mind. Your footer is definitely my favourite part of this layout. I love the little circle that says "Celebrating 10 years of Rurouni Kenshin". Great job.

Content: (33/40)

Main Site: I'm wondering why your some of your pages in this section have no headers. For example on you contact page, the first header doesn't look like the header under it. This is the same for a few other pages in this section like your disclaimer, hostees, etc. Your tagboard has pop-ups which isn't all that appealing to me. If I was a visitor I would probably avoid this section due to the pop-ups. Your tagboard colours clash with your main colour scheme, especially the black borders. Your Guestbook section just has a link to your guestbook. Why not save room and space by giving a direct link to your guestbook?

Information: The pages in this section have no headers too. The default borders in the Mangka section clash with your layout. I don't even think the thumbnails need a border. They would look fine without one. The Lyrics section should probably be located under the Multimedia section as it doesn't really fit under the Information section. Other than that, everything in this section looks fine. Everything is wonderfully written and is very detailed. If I was a new fan of Rurouni Kenshin (which I'm not ^^) this site would definitely be very helpful.

Multimedia: Once again, no headers on some of the pages. Some of the thumbnails in this section are either in bad quality or take a long time to load. I suggest you make the thumbnails just a bit smaller to reduce loading time, especially on the MasterPiece Collection page, or you could put fewer thumbnails on each page. Your Midi section is also a bit messy. Since all the text is pretty much bolded, it's hard to tell which is the song and which is the description of the song even though the text is 2 different colours. The borders on the images in your Haru Ni Sakura section don't match your main layout, causing the whole page to look strange. The rest of the pages look fine.

Interactive: Everything in this section looks fine, except for the fact that some pages scroll on for a bit too long.

Oro Related: I think the Webmaster section would probably be better if it was re-named "Staff". Since not all of the people there are webmasters, most of them are admin. There's really no need for an entire section dedicated to Hiatus Pages. Hiatus pages are a bit like layouts themselves, so they would fit just fine under the Layout section.

Leaving?: In the Link In section, there's a small error. The first group of buttons at the top are sized 50x50, not 88x31. The last group of buttons on the page, sized 200x40, aren't really buttons, but banners. You also have another link to your Guestbook even though there is already one at the top of the page.

Other than a few minor errors, your content is very good. This is definitely one of the most thorough, and well written Rurouni Kenshin fansite, actually any fansite for that matter, I've seen so far.

Spelling/Grammar: (10/10)

Since your site has so much content, I just generally skimmed through the pages to check for spelling errors. I found none, good job.

Overall: (17/20)

Like I said before, this is definitely one of the best fansites I've ever visited. The content is interesting and unique and I really enjoyed reviewing your site. Besides the fact that your layout took ages to load, it was a pleasure.
